A ministry of comfort, dignity, and hope

At True Vine Team Ministries Uganda, we believe widows should never walk alone. The Widows Ministry exists to surround women with love, prayer, support, and encouragement so they can continue life with strength and hope. This is a place where pain is met with compassion, and where broken hearts can begin to heal.

Our beginning

From the beginning, this ministry was born out of a burden to care for women who carry the heavy weight of loss, responsibility, and uncertainty. Many widows face emotional pain, financial struggle, and social isolation after losing their husbands. We began by listening, praying, and standing with them in practical and spiritual ways.

What started as simple acts of kindness became a growing ministry of restoration. We learned that widows do not only need help for a moment — they need ongoing love, friendship, dignity, and a reminder that God still has a purpose for their lives.

How far we have come

Today, the Widows Ministry is part of a wider social mission that reaches people through care, faith, and compassion. Over time, the ministry has become a source of comfort and encouragement for women who need both spiritual support and practical help.

We have seen that when widows are valued, listened to, and supported, hope begins to return. Their strength grows, their confidence rises, and their families are encouraged as well. This is the kind of change that comes when love is made visible.

What we believe

We believe every widow is precious to God and worthy of honor. We believe loss does not end a woman’s story, and hardship does not remove her value. God still sees, still strengthens, and still restores.

Our desire is not only to offer encouragement, but to help widows rediscover joy, purpose, and belonging. We want them to know they are not forgotten, and that they can still live with hope, faith, and dignity.

What the ministry does

The Widows Ministry supports women through:

  • Prayer and spiritual encouragement.

  • Fellowship and emotional support.

  • Practical care and social connection.

  • Listening and counseling.

  • Strengthening hope for daily life.

  • Building community and belonging.

This ministry meets both the heart and the hands. It speaks to the soul while also reminding women that they matter in the family of God and in the life of the community.

Our impact now

The Widows Ministry continues to grow as part of True Vine Team Ministries Uganda’s social outreach. It helps create a place where widows can find rest, prayer, and renewed strength. It also helps restore dignity by showing them that they are seen, loved, and supported.

Through this ministry, we are not only helping women survive difficult seasons — we are helping them keep their faith, rebuild confidence, and walk into a better future with hope.

Our prayer

We pray that every widow will be comforted, strengthened, and surrounded by people who care. We pray for peace in their hearts, provision for their needs, and joy that cannot be taken away.

At True Vine Team Ministries Uganda, we believe that every life has value, purpose, and the power to change. In our prison ministry at Morukatipe Prison in Tororo District, Eastern Uganda, we are reaching men and women who are often forgotten by society, but never forgotten by God. Through prayer, Bible sharing, encouragement, and discipleship, we bring a message of hope to those behind bars.

Morukatipe Prison is more than a place of confinement; it is also a place where transformation can begin. Many inmates carry deep emotional pain, broken family relationships, and uncertainty about their future. By visiting them with the love of Christ, we remind them that forgiveness, restoration, and a new beginning are possible.

Our prison ministry is not only about preaching—it is about restoring dignity, faith, and hope. We seek to walk with inmates on their journey of spiritual renewal, helping them discover that their past does not define their future. Every prayer shared, every Scripture read, and every word of encouragement planted can become a seed of change.

Why your support matters and how to partner

Your support makes this prison ministry stronger, more consistent, and more effective. When people stand with us through prayer, encouragement, and practical help, we are able to reach more lives at Morukatipe Prison and continue bringing hope, restoration, and the love of Christ to those who need it most.

Every act of support, whether through partnership, donations, or other forms of assistance, helps make the work more meaningful and sustainable. It allows us to continue visiting, sharing God’s Word, and meeting real needs in ways that open hearts and strengthen the impact of the ministry. Together, we can create lasting change and give more people the chance to experience transformation and a fresh start

A place where love becomes family

At True Vine Team Ministries Uganda, we believe every child deserves love, care, dignity, and hope. The Orphans Ministry was born from a deep burden to stand with children who have lost parental care or are growing up without the support they need. From the very beginning, our heart has been to remind every child that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

How it began

In the early days, the ministry began with simple acts of compassion. It started by reaching out to children in need through prayer, encouragement, and small but meaningful support. What may have looked like little at first became a powerful expression of Christ’s love in action, because sometimes the greatest change begins with a willing heart.

As the ministry grew, so did the understanding that orphaned and vulnerable children need more than temporary help. They need stability, mentorship, spiritual care, and a community that will walk with them through every season of life.

How far we have come

Today, the Orphans Ministry continues to grow as part of the wider social mission of True Vine Team Ministries Uganda. The ministry now stands as a place of hope where children can receive care, hear God’s Word, and experience the kindness of people who choose to love without condition. What began as a small burden has become a living testimony that compassion can restore dignity and open doors to a brighter future.

What we believe

We believe that children are not a burden to be carried but a generation to be raised. We believe that every orphan has a future, every child has purpose, and every act of love matters. Our ministry exists to bring comfort to the hurting, strength to the weak, and hope to those who may feel forgotten.

Through prayer, encouragement, care, and practical support, we aim to create an environment where children can heal, grow, and dream again. We want them to know that their lives are not defined by loss, but by the grace of God and the promise of a new tomorrow.

Our impact now

The Orphans Ministry is now part of a broader vision of reaching people spiritually, socially, and economically across the communities we serve. By caring for vulnerable children, we are helping build stronger families, healthier communities, and a future rooted in love and faith.

Every child reached, every prayer spoken, and every smile restored becomes part of a greater story — a story of healing, belonging, and hope. This is not only about meeting needs today; it is about shaping lives for tomorrow.

Our prayer

We pray that every orphan child will grow in love, peace, confidence, and faith. We pray that they will be surrounded by people who care, guided by truth, and strengthened by God’s presence in every step of their journey.
